Having problems with tempo

Hello, I am new to DP and I'm having difficulties trying to configure the tempo: when I changed the tempo slider to 150 bpm ,it only changed the click speed and stretched tracks but it was not in sync with the lines. Does it have anything to do with the conductor?

I hope I don't sound stupid and thanks for your help.

Mostly I can't picture what you're saying which is probably why nobody answered so far. Do you have tempo data in the Conductor track? I can only guess what you mean by not in sync with the lines,
