BCF 2000 has no touch-sensitive faders...

I realized today, that this was a huge part of MCU...

I cannot punch-in automation...

Anyone with any smart way around, would be heavily appreciated.
I cannot return this unit cause I bought it second hand...

If not, I might just re-sell this unit...
I think I made a bad bad decision in 2021....

Any alternatives for a good touch-sensitive fader for MCU emulation on Cubase..?

Why not? If you put the automation into touch or latch mode in a DAW, it automatically punches in when it sees the first value from the BCF.

I thought I could, but BCF 2000 fader will not override by my 'push' so.. I kinda.. put it in 'non-motorized' mode and just punched in.

Then, after a month, I got myself Euphonix MC Mix, so solved my problem.

But I don't think BCF 2000 allow Cubase users to punch-in 'while' motor is on. BCF 2000 faders will not obey.

*I believe this was an issue between BCF users back in the days.

Other than that, BCF 2000 was really good with MCU protocol
