Hello, old studio dog here. Analog to digital long path. Currently downsized to AW1600's [2 sweet machines from 2005]. Looking for AW1600 complete TOOLS CD [copy or iso image file] to bring both machines to factory standard out of the box for beginning my journey well armed and ready for crashes, HDD, or other repairs. They must be floating around somewhere from current or prior users "filed away somewhere"[lost]. Thanks in advance, Ron

Did you ever find the Tools CD?

I am looking for it now, just got an AW1600 and want to swap the HD for an SSD but need the CD to boot after the swap.

I'm in the same boat. I am waiting for AW1600 I just purchased to arrive. Curious if either of you found a solution.

And here's the instructions on how to do it, this is an AW2400, but from everything I've looked through, this should work, as long as your AW1600 CD drive works OK.

Just follow to a "T" except for the OS...., use the AW1600 OS Updater V1.13, not the AW2400 OS Updater V1.13

I just picked up a second used machine (need 8 tracks for drums), and it came from a French music shop, where they just used it to plug guitars into the hi-z! It’s minted. 400€s.

For the last 5 years here in France I’ve been getting by with a few rigs, depending what I need. AW1600 I kept for the Motif sync mainly. Now have two - coz I’ve been looking for these damn CDs for YEARS! (Might link em up).

Got an iMac, outboard, i88x, O1x which I prefer to do serious acoustic only stuff on (Logic)

It came last week in ORIGINAL box, with 2 CDs (Original 2005 Tools, 2010 Accessories CD, and owners manuals in 4 languages! I’ve just ripped the V1.13 update to iso and it worked and downloaded the service manual too.

I am currently restoring a aw1600 and came across this thread. I have managed to find the firmware updater but have had no luck finding the original cds. Could you provide or point me in the direction of ISOs of the discs?
