Rubber Bands 500 is a passive equalizer absurdly reduced in size. This tiny module is equipped with transformer balancing on inputs and outputs (Carnhill) as well as a discrete power circuit. Of course the entire filtering section is passive and mirrors fully analogue equalizers from the 60s. I'm very curious to know how you're getting along with the Empress. I also have an RB500 and am considering adding the Empress. I'll likely keep the RB500 because I really like it, and the 500 form factor is great for travel.
