Summit DCL-200… Can it do the TLA-100 thing?
Hi Everybody,
I’m looking to get some opinions from people who have used both of these Dave Hill-designed Summit compressors.
To make a long story short, I was wondering how similar these are since I already own a great-condition DCL-200 from the 90s that I use all the time.
Can anyone shed any light on the similarities in tone between these 2 units? Is the DCL-200 just a stereo TLA-100 with more controls, or are these things totally different sounding?
