Description

This eurorack module is a multi (8) stage pitch and gate sequencer, and is based on the Ryk M-185 module for the Roland 100m modular synthesizer format.
The eight stages each have their own gate mode, pulse count (within one step) and pitch value, as well as a slide or skip function. Additionally the sequencer offers a number of controls and modes such as Forward, Forward-fixed, Reverse, Reverse-fixed, PingPong, PingPong-Fixed, Random, Random-fixed, Brownian, Brownian-fixed.
It offers internal quantizing in any key using a choice of 30 scales. There is an internal clock generator that can be set with tapcontrol, numerical value or external clock (with BPM detector). It also offers a shuffle mode,, and an internal clock divider with odd/even/all modes, that can be used to synchronize state changes. There's two assignable auxiliary inputs for control over gate length, transpose, key shift, root shift, sequence length, step divisor and octave offset.
The firmware chip is user replacable for future updates.
The size is 34 hp and power consumption is 195mA @ +12V, 8mA @ -12V.

...like that I can sequence two different things with it.) Just using it temporarily until I can afford the Intellijel Metropolis (end of April hopefully.) Though, I may keep using it to save on HP real estate (and I actually have two SQ-1s.) The plan in this two row setup though was to have two...
