...useful to know The Roland boxes you mention are all a bit on the expensive side - what about boxes like Roland MC50 mkII ? MC300 ? SBX...? Those do not have DIN Sync - but they have MIDI and Tape In/Out ... Not sure though, if they convert incoming MIDI to Tape out when...
