Description

Overview
Genelec 7260A Active DSP Subwoofer brings the flexibility and accuracy of room response equalization to an entirely new level. This powerful and precise low frequency monitoring solution is designed for modern 6.1 or 5.1 multi-channel systems as well as traditional stereo applications.

With its 19 Hz lower cut-off frequency, high sound pressure output capability and versatile digital bass management system, the 7260A adapts to all low frequency monitoring situations. The amplifier unit is integrated into the enclosure containing active DSP crossover filters, driver overload protection circuits and power amplifiers.

The built-in bass management system supports eight input and output channels (four XLR connectors) for AES/EBU formatted digital audio. The main channels crossover frequency can be adjusted between 50-100 Hz.
Features
Ideal for traditional stereo or modern 5.1/6.1 surround monitoring
The front-firing 10" driver provides a high sound pressure output capability and frequencies as low as 19Hz to meet the needs of virtually any bass application
The integrated 120W amplifier unit supports 8 input and output channels (4 XLR connectors each) for high-quality AES/EBU digital audio. The amplifier also contains active DSP crossover filters and driver overload protection circuits for reliability
The main crossover frequency can be adjusted between 50-100Hz, while the LFE channel input (input 4) has an adjustable 50-120Hz low pass filter and a 0/+10dB sensitivity switch
The subwoofer is compatible with the Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM) control network, which uses software to enhance the performance of the sub. It offers level adjustment, distance delays, phase and room response EQ, and robust AutoCal automated calibration via the GLM control network
The Laminar Spiral Enclosure bass-reflex cabinet minimizes turbulence noise and allows a long reflex tube to be put into a small space for high-quality laminar flow characteristics and minimized turbulence

Amphion... Beautiful

...little introduction... I'm from Finland and somehow happen to use mostly finnish speakers. ? In the studio we have: Genelec 8240A DSP + 7260A sub - rarely used these days. Sometimes for tracking of bass and other bass heavy material, but I preferably use Sennheiser HD600 for this if possible. One Yamaha NS10 for mono checks - This is great!...

Amphion... Beautiful

Cool! I was skeptical too, but when I first got them they were not at the same volume. I had to fiddle with knobs and thought of getting one back. I had to wait a good 48h for them to be pumping AND at the exact same volume. Funny story I later took two weeks of...

PSI Audio AVAA C20 (post your experience -review)

...C20 are extremely effective when set up properly. This is how they work in my room, with 8351B and two 7260A. I have two C20s and they're working even below 20Hz. My system works to around 15Hz -3dB, and completely flat to 20Hz, I can imagine with monitors that cut off at 50Hz it...
