This microphone is inspired by and styled after the \"Neumann U-47\", which was modified by German Radio in the \'70s to incorporate a glass triode tube. ...I have quite a few more mics (Neumann U87ai/ U89i/M147/TLM103/KM184, Lawson L251/L47, Blue Cactus/Kiwi/Blueberry/ Dragonfly, Violet Flamingo Standard/Globe-Vintage/Amethyst-Vintage, Cloud JRS34, Peluso 2247, Shure SM7, and a many more. But what I feel is, I can adapt to either place, by positioning microphones and turning knobs on preamps, to I get a sound that will work...
...gets built, will probably be catering to a different audience. The price for the MKSREC 1 according to the website is 2247 euro, around 2300 USD. You're probably referring to the Rossum? I just saw a video of the new 'Behringer city', that's a lot of space and a huge investment (100 million USD, they say).
