TB BusCompressor is a very transparent, musical, all-round dynamics processor designed to be able to handle everything from single tracks to complex, full mixes. Even with ultra-short attack and release settings, harmonic distortion is extremely low (often better than -150 dB re FS*), and CPU load is typically below 0.5% (depending on hardware).
Best for what? Best for who? If you're talking about universal, clean unit that works good on any material and easy to use - TDR Kotelnikov, IMO. Toneboosters BusCompressor is great too, but not so easy to use. These two you can use if you need pure compression and no artefacts.
I have a MJUC, it is great for what it is, but IMO Toneboosters BusCompressor is the winner in compressors for 2015. Can be invisible doing it's job, very low on CPU (which is a miracle for a comp working as great as TDR Kotelnikov), and not expensive too. Has full demo, worth to...
