...my Scarlett 18i8 and I monitored the outputs through both the headphone outs of the Scarlett and through my JBL control 1 speakers. MIDI was via USB, and... there just isn't any noise at all. Nada. Zilch. I tested this both pre and post update to v1.1 (as it shipped with v1.0) and no difference...

For background music this may be sufficient (in restaurants here in germany I've often seen the JBL Control 1 for this purpose). Of course this is still a nearfield-monitor, no PA-speaker. Here's a review by "audiosciencerevie" of the HS7 with detailed measurements. Frequency response looks o.k., but you can clearly see that THD rises quickly...
