To help you decide about the playing- here's a sample.
It was recorded at a place called Strings, a very unique venue that has been around for almost 30 years (yep, started in 1993).
Strings is in a "abandoned" laundromat (yep, and in a formerly "bad" part of town; hookers used to hang out on the corner of the block), repurposed as a no profit acoustic music venue (yep, not "not for profit"; Strings has never turned a profit, and never tried to). It is run entirely by volunteers. Everything in it was either donated, found, or built by the volunteers (I built the FOH desk). It used to be very much an underground, 'we don't need no stinking badges' kinda place (I was once in Bananas, a music store, wearing a Strings t-shirt; the sales guy asked "Strings, I've heard of that place; where is it?), less underground nowadays- but still pretty much unknown.
Great place to hang out even if the acoustics aren't that great.
People who have played Strings include: Shawn Mullins, Jason Mraz, Alex de Grassi, Lawrence Juber, Peter Finger, Peppino D’Agostino, Franco Maroni, Antonia Jiménez, Nora Jane Struthers, Eric & Suzy Thompson, Laurie Lewis, Psychograss- and all have been recorded.

Strings has always had a hippie ethic, which continues to today. Hence, no paper trail.
Although we've put some concerts up on You Tube, releasing this concert on CD would be a first for Strings (with any money it earns going to the musicians). Still not sure we are going to do this, but like all things Strings, it's got to be fun or we don't do it.
