Hey all

Does anyone know anyone (pref in the UK) who’s building custom synth FX boxes/pedals?

I need an incredibly simple thing - just a low pass filter pref with a couple of switchable poles that I can operate with an exp pedal. It’s for the end of a synth and other FX chain for live work. There are some (but not many) options out there right now but all with other functions I don’t need and v expensive etc… (analog heat etc).

If I were to design something myself I’d also include side chain filter functionality like the Pill or the Neon egg etc but thats just playing around a bit.

I’ve found the requirement to operate a LP filter on my keys rig is becoming more and more common and it just doesn’t work using only the synths filter as its in front of any reverbs and delays etc..

Any ideas would be most appreciated

I have this Moog MF Drive pedal that incorporates a Moog ladder filter that is controllable with an expression pedal. If you keep the drive controls low it won't act as a distortion pedal.

It might work for you.
