What to pair with the Nord Wave 2?

Though I am quite fond of the nord wave 2 I wonder what I could add to it
I am looking to add something that the nord wave 2 can not do sonically or technically via sequencing or arps

Any ideas?

So far I feel a “real analog” big or small one voice or more

Thoughts from those who have a nord wave 2 and pair it with something else?

I think the Novation Summit would make a good pairing (I have both). The synth engine of the wave is quite clinical and there's nothing much in the way of a true mod matrix but it still sounds great.

The Summit sound gorgeous and I get my vintage vibes from it plus so much more.

Nord Wave 2 covers a LOT of ground, I have one and it’s also my main controller. Great feel on the keys.

I would think about picking up something with true VCO’s. Even if it’s just a mono, you could use the Nord Wave 2 sampling tool to great effect.

Since the NW2 covers a lot of middle ground I would be looking at really different types of synths, like the Sequential Pro 3, or an Arturia Polybrute. Or go wild with a Soma Labs Lyra-8... If you have money and time to burn look into modular synthesis, and maybe start with a Moog Mother 32. That will give you an endless stream of sample material

I have 15 other synths like Polybrute, Juno 6, Nord Leads, etc.
Nord Wave 2 covers all of them beside Casio cz-101 and Moog Subsequent 37
