I think this will be a pretty good seller for Seq... I see a few potential market angles for this:
1. Beginning/Intermediate keyboardists looking for a VCO analog poly synth with modulation depth and core rhythmic capabilities (arp/seq/global lfo). Good sound architecture for bread and butter stuff from 80s through modern, but also ability to learn and get deeper into sound design (with 16 mod slots, and a decent amount of options for LFO and Env routings, plus built in effects) This will also likely also be a good compact master controller for people with limited desk space to run DAW/VSTs -- assuming the Fatar keyboard quality is as good as Seq's other recent offerings... it has velocity+aftertouch, with full size keys and mod/pitch wheels.
2. Guitarists/Bassists/Vocalists or other multi instrumentalists looking to add some analog poly synth melody/harmony as an occasional secondary instrument.
3. Weekly/nightly gigging keyboardists who want a compact synth to throw in a gig bag and more easily travel via car/bus/metro/plane.
4. Synth fiends like myself (and others on this forum and elsewhere) who already have other poly synths that are more versatile, and don't really
need this, but want the core Prophet 5 sound architecture as an option to complement other synths.
This is not a synth meant to wow everyone (especially not on this forum

It's not the flagship poly synth I'm hoping Seq will release sometime soon, and not the OB that we'll likely see next... But for its price, seems like a really solid offering. I can see why Seq decided to create it. I'm picking one up.
If it's not for you, that's fine... move along. If you have objective criticisms, voice them... that's constructive. Or just bash it with only unarticulated, subjective criticism... as seems to be the tradition for this forum. It would be sorta funny if the words "harsh, lush, warm, cold, thin, thick, " were bleeped out like expletives on GS.
