I have a Kawai K5000R and I am trying to find the rare ME-1 memory board.

There are two sources I've come across:
* A Russian Ebay seller (who is no longer contactable due to the war)
* A diy project on this site (which no longer exists but can be found on the way back machine): https://www.marjorie.de/kawai/kawai10.htm

I would like to get hold of one, so first, does anyone have one for sale?

If not, does anyone know a contract detail for:
* The Russian Ebayers?
* the guy who ran the German site. If so, I am more than happy to try and contact him, get the plan, make some pcbs and make a bunch of them, if anyone else is interested in them.

They both seem to have disappeared... I needed one for my 5000S, and I just bought a 5000W, so now I need 2 ! OHHH the pain

E-mail of the German guy was [email protected] but I suspect if the website is defunct, so is the e-mail server. Still doesn't hurt to try I guess.

Boy am I glad I managed to get an expansion for my K5000R frrom Marjorie site in time.

Glad I upgraded all 6 of my k5000’s.

As posted elsewhere, there is a new clone board on the market! The first batch was sold out in less than a day, but you should be able to buy a board from the second batch in January 2024 at the WaveReX shop.
