I hardly ever pay the asking (list) price for anything. A simple phone call usually gets a little something off the online listed price. But...It has seemed strange to me, for years, that every single online retailer has the same exact price. I suspected as much but didn't really care enough to boycott. I was/am part of the problem. Maybe this will eventually bring back a little of the healthy competition that made shopping online fun and actually worth it. Now a days, it's like all the retailers might as well be the same company with a different home page banner.

If I'm honest, it does make me a little sad. I mean, the practice of price fixing by the giants of the industry when artists are already referred to as "starving artists/musicians". Do you care or is this just biz as usual to you?
