Can't really answer your queries directly, but my old SK20 (although nearly mint condition), had all sorts of quirks and slider issues. Sometimes moving a random slider caused intermittent sound and/or sudden shift in range. I don't remember the outputs being a problem other than popping & crackling loudly through my monitors if they were moved slightly. I sold it as sold as seen + needing service, and from what I remember the guy who bought it (who was handy at fixing synths) sorted out all the problems fairly easily.
Tbf, any synth of that age could probably do with a general service, so it might be worth considering if you have a local tech with out any huge waiting times.
Here she is. I bought her to try and somewhat sooth my Trident loss. Wasn't even close, but did sound great.
I got CS20M. The SK-20 would look lovely on top of that. Like old bros.
