i see you're advertising mastering services... please don't take it personally, but im really suprised you can do such work, which requires outmost precision and perfect listening enviroment, in such a bare untreated room, and with speakers right next to the wall? these low tilted ceilings certainly dont help..

Clustercord, what you don't see are:

- floating insulated floor
- 4 europallets of rockwool processed in this room (basstrapping)
- ceiling cloud panels

be assured this room is as good as it can be, regarding speakers, would suggest you look up the installation guide of the O 300's they are designed to be able to wall mount
the TAD's are designed to be positioned like above.

This is my little musical corner of the world. Quite a simple set up, Roland Juno 6, Access Virus Ti 2 Polar, Korg SP-170S, Moog Minitaur, Animoog & Waldorf Nave on iPad. Machine Drum SPS+1UW, Alesis Midiverb 4, Lexicon MX400, Small Stone Phaser, Boss RC-3 Loop Station, Macbook Pro and Garage Band. All connected to Mackie 1202-VLZ3. The Korg acts as the midi controller.

It's actually just fine there on top, below the juno there is some fabric that has a surface that provide grip so the juno doesn't slide away (the weight alone is enough for that though to accomplish)

This is my hybrid project studio. My crown jewels are the Soundtracs Topaz, the Tascam 38 and MSR-16. Hopefully I'll be upgrading to a Sony APR-24 within the next month or so and then seriously considering a new board if possible.

I have sold nearly everything and concentrated on higher quality/fewer. Here's an odd shot, PP courtesy of my daughter!

The MOX actually has a few things over the Motif XF/XS - dedicated transpose buttons, USB audio interface capabilities, remote DAW functions etc - that make it more useful to me. I still rate the Motif over the Kronos and Fantom, and I've owned an XS/original over the years. I may be a synthesist, but I'm also a player, and sometimes I just want a piano/strings patch, y'know? Also, I defy anyone not to be impressed with the auto-arranger type 'performances', which are a superb way of fleshing out new ideas.

The Prophet 12 is simply too good, and although I'm aware these are still my Halycon days with it, it's just so versatile and so creamy sounding. A proper, player's classic.

The iMac is stuffed with Logic Pro X, Omnisphere, Trilian, RMX, NI Komplete and I run Valhalla and Fabfilter effects. All top notch and highly rated ITB plugs.

The DT770's are accompanied by DT880's, not pictured. I do this late evenings, and so monitors aren't the most important thing [I use some cheapie M-Audio's]. However, I know my DT's inside out and use TB Isone to overcome the spatial imaging issues.



I have no GAS at the moment. Everything is just so, and it feels like a quality ITB/OTB hybrid setup with no flab. Of course, the covers come off...
