Thanks guys I appreciate it. I just tried to make things as ergonomic as possible. It's all about comfort for me. No 6 tier racks for me

Yeah it's not bad. It's the perfect size I think. I use it for sounds too, and not embarrassed by it lol. I have a remote sl mkii I'm returning because it's not what I thought it would be. I gave up on controllers.

lol, yeah its a bit ridiculous, but they are so cheap these days I've just sort of compiled them since the late 80's. These are just the operational ones. I have several others which are on the parts/junk pile. They do come in handy.

I have synced a few at once but yeah, that could be pretty crazy. I generally only sync 2, 1 for music and 1 for lights (slaved to MMT #1 ). Because Midi light-shows are FUN !

You know, most of them I buy on Ebay work great. I generally buy the black ones as they are later models, check to make sure the writing on the play/record button isn't worn off (because that can be a sign of heavy use), and ask/check to make sure they are running OS 1.11 (latest) and the battery is still good. They are indeed alot of fun. Very fast/easy workflow

they sure are easy to use with synths and rack gear
and with the memory expansions they are totally nuts for sequencer storage in a small package

I remember when those first came out. The music store I worked at ordered a bunch because they were dirt cheap compared to offerings from Roland and others, so they sold well. I just thought they were uuuuugly and cheap feeling. The buttons were horrible and those lids would snap off.

But, they were popular.

yes, I use them for back-ups and for different configurations, also for light sequencing....I want to be set for life. I've used many sequencers over the past 25 years, but the MMT-8 is my favorite. I've found the durability of the units over the years is excellent if treated right and the most important thing, Song writing is very easy. Workflow is fast. Great for Live use. Hard to pass up for a near perfect condition one for $50 once in awhile.

reverb - Lexicon MPX550 (Under the OT)

Mastering compressor & recording A/D's- Focusrite Mixmaster (Under the OT)

spiffy setup, I dig the gear and layout, I like my setup close by as well. Wise use of the mpc and proteus! Also you must get some really cool sounds from the AN1x, AN200 and MS20 I would think, nice trio to work with.
