Logic Pro has become unusable
For me.
EVERY time I launch Logic Pro 11.2, it stalls at "searching for Audio Plugins". I have to force-quit, launch it again, then it starts searching for my AU plugins, and THEN it examines all 1,974 plugins, which takes ages.
This is on my Intel Mac Pro 7.1 running Sonoma. I never had this issue with LP 10. I also have Logic on my M1 MacBook Pro running Sequoia, the same issues, although examining the plugins takes less time.
My other DAW's (Pro Tools and Digital Performer) don't re-examine plugins every time they launch. They just launch, straight away.
Another issue in LP.. in LP 10, I could import a Standard Midi File with markers. In LP 11, that option does not exist. It will import a SMF, but the markers don't import.
Is there any way to stop LP 11 from re-examining AU's every time you launch it? And is there some method to import a SMF with markers?
