Hi,
can anyone verify this as I can't export audio in Logic Pro. It ends up with files that seem to be OK (have a file size) but cannot be opened as they only turn out with an unknown error - 12842 ? This happens to me whether I try to export one file or several files as audio files.

Have you tried rebooting your computer and then shocking your Parameter RAM (PRAM)?

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried yesterday again and the result was the same. Did not choose to reset PRAM. However, export is working if I don't try to do it for the whole projects length but instead choose a cycle inside the song. Also found out that it might be faster to split the export to several takes rather than try to do it once. In fact I also managed to overload M1 Mac Studio for trying to export too many audio files. It did not work out even after I raised the latency to max 1024.

Resetting PRAM in Apple OS is common and resolves system conflicts existing since OS version 1.0

Will not harm your computer system or memory.

Reboot, simultaneously long press Option/Command/hold P - R keys until system reboots and Apple icon reappears. You may continue to long press and reboot/shock PRAM several times if your OS allows. Older systems allow multiple shocks.

The current Sequoia OS 15 allows one shock before reloading. Mac System conflicts have not yet been resolved despite what Apple advertising publicizes. It is a standard Mac troubleshooting procedure.

Bit Rate Mono setting? (Default 96 kbps)

and

Bit Rate Stereo setting? (Default 192 kbps)

VBR should be set (checked)

and

Quality set to (Highest)

(Checked) Use best encoding
(Checked) Filter frequency below 10 Hz

Hi,
I do know it's a standard practise and I have used it before when I actually had troubles with Mac OS. This time the error is only on Logic Pro and only for that one procedure. Thera are also many observations on various lists about Logic's failing export. As the cycle works fine, It's OK with me. I'm on Sonoma still.

Not sure about your troubleshoot procedure? I'm not trying to convert my audio files but to export them as AIFF.

Select File Format as AIFF
