I need some advice from the engineer's or tech guys here. I'm working on a WDW rig thats main goal is to eliminate all pedals from front of amp. I am using a custom shop crybaby rack wah. Which really needs to be ran in the effects loop that has adjustable send and return. I need to know if there is any tips or hacks out there to make this actually work decently I have heard a million people say it sounds bad don't do it put it in front but that doesn't help me get the job done. Some others mention it needs to be brought down to instrument level to work? Has anyone done this? Converted line level to make the wah more usable in loop ? Sorry if this has been covered already I couldn't find anything on the topic besides people stating the obvious that it sounds bad.
Is this WDW for a guitar rack rig? I had a rack wah back in the day. It wants to go it front, not in the loop. A wah won’t sound right at all in a loop.
