Please help me fellow Gearspacers!

First of all I love the sound of this plugin and I'd love to get the hardware later at some point.

On my MBA M1 2020, OSX 13.6.3, Logic 10.8.1 / Live 11.3.2 Audio Unit
I have a bug as can be seen and heard in the attached video.

The preset is attached as well.
In order to get the (supposedly) same result just do the following:

1. Load a new empty session
2. Load the plugin and the attached preset on the master bus
3. Play audio through it
4. Mute the track, don't stop playback
5. Make sure the output of Silver Bullet is turned all the way up
6. Check your meter or load your preferred analyser and check for crackling noise

It has to do with Module A and Dyna Realism Sync being activated at the same time. Turning off either Module A or switching Dyna Realism to another parameter will stop the noise.

I contacted NI support and they asked me to do the video.
Yep it's not PA support anymore and it sucks!
And their answer to my request was and i quote:

"So, what I can do is make a Problem Ticket for this issue to keep track of reported cases. If enough people create tickets for this, it will be submitted for further investigation by Development.

Unfortunately, there is nothing more support can do to resolve this; I want you to know that it is still under review, and you will be notified if we move forward with a report to development."

So I kindly ask you to please check if you're getting the same bug/noise and make that report to development happen.

EDIT: I checked the VST3 version of the plugin with exact same behaviour. So windows users please check too!

EDIT: FYI I am no longer having the issue I was once I upgraded my DAW (Ableton 11->12).

That means it is definitely the software and not a system specific problem.

Did you write the support about this?

This new company mega structure clearly only has $$$ in mind and they now officially give a ? about their paying customers.
PA support used to be spot on.
I am a longtime customer (over 20 years ni and bx since the beginning in 2008) of both companies and have spent many bucks on their products and contributed to their success.
This is just sad.
Hopefully LTL is better.

LTL does not reply to tech support questions on the dozens of forums and social media platforms. Please contact LTL support directly.

I personally forwarded your request via this thread to the person that can address your concerns.

But please be aware - just because its happened to two people doesn't exclude that it might be computer hardware related. To the best of our knowledge, you guys are the only people that have experienced this issue.

Again, in the future, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact LTL tech support directly on the website and you should get an answer if we (they) can duplicate it. Everyone at LTL is supportive of customers and their questions - but we can't search every forum.

Really appreciate your feedback and support in this case which at least gives me an idea on how to proceed.

I had planned to wipe out my system and start from scratch for quite some time and this problem just confirms it. I will do it in the next days and report if the problem persists.

OK so after a major pain in the butts ( CCC refused to do a full backup on a clean 1TB Samsung T5 saying there wasn't enough space ) total resetting my MBA to default (even reformatted the drive) I did the following before installing anything else:

1. Installed Logic Pro
2. Installed Silver Bullet
3. Tested - with the same result

Sorry LTL, it's definitely the software and tell me: can it be there are only 2 people in the whole world really using (and hearing) this plugin?
This is kind of astonishing since it sounds damn good apart from that shitty noise that it makes at specific settings. I spent a couple hours tweaking to find "my sound" with this setting only to find out it is not usable for now.

I really hope you guys find some time to figure out what is the problem and to fix it.
I know plugin programming is not easy and an art by itself. I tried it myself and left it until there are better solutions like AI-coding.

What did LTL say when you contacted them?

Well, that's the question isn't it. Essentially, you are the only one with the problem, with one other person essentially mentioning they have something similar.

Have you contacted LTL about this yet? What did Deegan say?

No answer so far.

Maybe they were waiting in case the system reset helped?

Seriously, I'm not using any special computer model or software in order to be affected totally different than other users.
It's pretty generic: M1 Processor, Logic, not the latest OS and Ventura officially supported by PA.
So nobody did a beta test on this kind of system?

Tomorrow, I'll talk to my friend in Switzerland. He has the plugin too and he's on a mac mini M1.
Let's see if he can reproduce it.

What in the world can cause such a strange noise?
A hardware issue even though all other plugins were running ok?
Makes no sense to me.

Hey TMado- this is Josh from Unfiltered Audio. I did quite a bit of the development of the SB MKII plugin. Today is the first time I'm seeing this post- had no idea you were having the issue. I'm encountering the same crackling noise issue with my LTL Silver Bullet. It's really frustrating, especially considering I paid a significant amount for this plugin, but it's currently unusable for me. I haven't reported it yet, but I’m wondering if anyone here has found a solution or if there are any updates on fixing this bug. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, no update yet to my knowledge. My workaround is to disable the sync function, then it works.
