Hope someone can help.

My Studio monitors are clipping at really low volume when working within my Daw. I have tried in Logic and Reaper and it doesn't seem to be Specific to one Daw. I am using Sonarworks reference 4 and always put on safe headroom -9db inside the plugin. Everything is gainstaged and nothing is clipping in the daw master is -5 ish DB in daw and not anywhere near red on Apollo twin mk2.

The monitors I'm using are vxt 6 and what's really strange is I can play a Spotify song loud as hell with sonarworks system wide on. It literally gets extremely loud without clipping anything

does anyone have any suggestions as to what it might be? really stuck on what could be causing it.
