All you need is a computer with a FireWire connection, a few microphones and cables, monitor speakers or headphones, and your instruments!

Presonus Product Lifecycle / Planned Obsolescence

Hey everybody, In the past I've seen Presonus stop supporting products prematurely. For example, the Firestudio 2626 which I believe was released in 2007 which has no official support beyond Windows 7/OSX 10.7.x. Windows 8 and OSX 10.8.x both came out in 2012 and neither got any drivers for official support for the Firestudio 2626....
