Mixing the first song off my debut album

Hey!

I'm uploading a mix I'm working on right now off my debut album I'm trying to finish up and put out. What are your thoughts so far? I still need to add some harmony vocals in, and want to experiment with some more things...but for the most part this is the mix so far.

I performed and wrote all the instruments/vocals, as well as recorded and mixed everything myself.

Thanks!

That sounds good! I like the sound of the vocal and the instruments fit nicely.

I think it could use a little more highs overall to give it some more sparkle.

It's a nice track, but in my opinion, for that song, your voice will look way better with a hall reverb.

Thanks guys!

As for the reverb, I believe right now I have the vocal sending to a room, a plate, and then a delay that feeds a hall. I'll have to double check that to make sure.
