Face the left wall in your diagram. Sit centered and have the speakers as close to the wall as possible. For treatment you can use the following as a guide.

Thanks Glenn, I will be purchasing your bass traps in the coming months!

By 'call' do you mean wall?

Cool Sneaky thread hijack

This is very similar to my new room, mines square and a little bit larger though, and I'm just starting to treat and furnish it.
Thanks for your reply Glenn; just wondering, is there an Australian dealer for GIK?
I live in Brisbane, and I was just going to go the DIY route, but the costs aren't a whole lot cheaper if I want to do it properly compared to buying prefab, and I would much rather something with quality I can trust. What would you recommend I do?
Cheers

Wish we did. We actually looked at opening a plant/office there but I don't think there is a enough business to support it. Who knows though, anything is possible. One thing I thought about doing is a group buy, to cut down on the shipping cost. If you have a few friends that might want to buy you can all contact me.

Glenn I'm wondering why I'd want to have my speakers as close to the wall as possible? I may be using NS7's so would that still be a good idea? I hear those speakers in particular should be away from the wall.. Do you believe the back wall will be the main issue with the room?
