Celcon (thermalrite) Block Speaker Stands

Hi Guys,

Has anyone got any experience using this stuff as monitor stands?

I was going to use breeze blocks, but i picked a few up today and I am a little concerned with the weight on my upstairs floor. I'm in a rented property and I never have any noise complaints and extremely tolerant housemates. (winning combination!)

These blocks look pretty perfect as stands, although not as heavy as I would like, they will be really solid compared to the crappy metal frame things money can buy and also a lot cheaper.

I'm going to buy some tomorrow. I just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with such a material and can pick any holes in my plan.

Many thanks

seems to be around the same density as AAC (perhaps a bit more) so it may be quite OK to use.
