Yes, a proprietary blend of cat fur and OC705. heh

Speaking of cats, here's my new baby Grayson:

He's about ten years old, found at a local animal shelter. He's just a tiny thing weighing only 8 pounds!

So... how many kg/m^3 are we talking about here? Does his acoustic properties changes after meals?

Thanks for the OC705. Looks like you experimented a lot with 701, 703 and 705, so I'll look around for something similar in Germany and choose depending on the more problematic frequencies in my future studio.

I declare this thread as officially off-topic. It turned into a bass trap / cat discussion. Many thanks to the pros in here. Really helped me out a lot.

I'll try to get a hold on a few sheep to experiment with living bass traps. If I can teach them to appreciate bass, they should automatically move to the bass-heavy positions in the room so they can groove along. Engineering a living cloud is a real challenge though. Bats are hanging from the ceiling fixtures just fine, but they freak out when you mix in 96 kHz (probably messing up their sonar) and there's the risk of catching some falling fecal matter when mixing.

The tricorners are already taken care of by perfectly positioned cobwebs. Still looking for fluffier spider species for better absorption though.
