Hello everybody!

First of all I'd like to say that this forum gives a lot usefull information about studiodesign and acoustic treatments. With this information I've built some absorbers, one cloud and two helmholtzresonators for my old control room. Now I have a new room in the basement of my house.

Just to mention: I don't have any problems with my neighbors, cuz I'm not recording any drums. The existing wall is wood on brickwork. The ceiling and the floor are floating floor I think. But I'd like use laminate for the floor. Behind the, I call it duct, are the cable for electricity and heating. There is no problem to cover the both windows by building a new wall. My budget is $2500 maximum.

I'd like to build a Control room and a Vocalbooth.

I've designed a floorplan with Google Sketchup (*.skp). Download the StetchUp file: Download

Now, I don't know how to build the two rooms. I love the Studiodesign of John. John Sayers' Recording Studio Design Forum • View topic - Small studio in 3D

Is it possible to build John's studio design within my room?

Thank you!
