6" panels mounted on walls

I'm gonna have super chunks in the wall to wall corners up the full height of the wall of my tracking room and control room. I can't do wall to ceiling corners because of the way my lighting was setup. I was wondering if mounting 6" panels in reflection points would do much in terms of bass absorption or should I not bother and do 2"? The control room is about 12x18 and the tracking room is 10x19. They both have 6'6" ceilings

Yes, thick panels at reflection points can only help. And thick panels near corners, even if not straddling, helps a lot too.
