Songwriter application on smart phones

I've been developing a songwriter application running on smart phones, named "Simple Song Creator". I have finished the first version for iPhone and Windows Phone.
It is a simple music composing application that has the ability to write out the music notes and lyrics of the songs you want to compose. You can use the app to capture new song ideas that come to your mind everywhere you go.

* Features:
- Write music notes and lyrics. It supports a range of note pitches from E3 to E6 (equivalent to 3 octaves on a guitar), and a range of note durations from whole to sixteenth note. Accidentals (sharp, flat, natural) and dotted notes are also supported.
- Playback function with the piano sound.
- Export the songs into MIDI or MusicXML files that you can copy to your computer when connecting your phone through iTunes, so that you can continue editing the songs using professional music composing softwares like Encore, Finale, Guitar Pro, ... Or you can send the file via email. For Windows Phone's devices, you can upload the songs to SkyDrive or Dropbox and then download to your computer.

Have a look at it on the app store:
- iPhone: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/simp...0128?ls=1&mt=8
- Windows Phone: Simple Song Creator | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (United States)

Thanks a lot for reading!

I use the voice recorder on my iphone to capture melodies and notes to jot down lyric ideas. Not perfect, but damn convenient.

I always wondered how well these specialized apps sell on the iPad and would like for you to share your experience with us. For instance how many users decide to leave feedback after purchasing the app. With 15 positive reviews in the App store it seems to be an appreciated endeavor but much like making music it appears to be a pure labour of love...thanks!

I would love an app that analyzes a sung melody and finds working chord progressions to complement

I completely forgot about that gem! The ad was featured on an Australian TV program as a candidate for 'Worst Ad Ever'.
