That dude sent me 2 stereo tracks already mixed, Bus plus a reverb track, so I dont know. I might have added some cha-zam at one point, but this song has been bounced a million times.

As far as that site, you put your song up, and generally 3 musicians, drummers etc will bid on it. Usually 150 - 250

Love the killer riff, though as you/we know, it's basically Funk #49 , by James Gang. I'd suggest changing it up so the listener doesn't just do what I did: head to Youtube to listen to Joe Walsh's riff again instead of listening to your song.

If it were me I might have been tempted to speed it up a bit. But it's a groovy head bobber for sure.

I like that you're not afraid to leave space between the notes. It doesn't always have to be a completely dense mix.

Seems well produced to my amateur ears.
My two bits.
Cheers mate.

Thanks for checking it out and taking the time to leave feedback. I appreciate it! It definitely has a “nod” to Funk 49, but I think it’s different enough to be it’s own thing. I always struggle with tempo, so I hear you on that. Thanks again!

At :36, is there a gate kicking in? Seems a tad abrupt since it's an intimate performance. Otherwise sounds good. I think maybe some low end on the vox, but I'm listening on a phone.

We're looking at getting these mastered here soon so I'm hoping to get some feedback to make sure I did everything right

I tried a bunch of different ways to mic the thing and went with just the front of the lid open with a spaced pair of LDCs over it. I used a Gefell M990 that I got a couple weeks ago over the bass strings and a UMT70S over the high strings, as shown in the photo.

I understand classical music should be around -16 LUFS (am I right?), but I went with -18 as this kind of stuff should be rather quiet.

Sounds good

Awesome. On a phone sounds like a radio mix from the 60s, but in a good way

New Blues Jazz Nashville true life track

Here is a true life Blues/Jazz/Nashville/weird song about happenings in my neck of the woods over 7 years and counting.

I think it sounds short when it is 3:30 min long so must be okay to me.
Thanks for listening

Hey Guys,
I made a track with samples by Loopop from Superbooth. It has the Dreadbox Nymphes, Erica Synth Perkon, Hydrasynth and Waldorf M featured in sampleform. I whipped up my own video. Curious what you guys think.

Not really a "Demo", just an old guys hobby. No vocals - which with my voice is a blessing.

I like it. Strong bass line.....and I like the way some of those snare hits ring out.

Good mix.

Vocals are overrated anyway, right?

totally overrated. everything should support the bass!

I think Frank Zappa said the only reason he had vocals was because the human mind has been conditioned to expect a voice in music. Or something along those lines

Thanks for listening!

Sounds great. What did you do for the drums? They sound good.

Cool progressive sound.

Thanks! The drums are Addictive Drums 2, not sure how I processed this particular track. Usually I'll separate out the kick and snare, and parallel compress the "overheads".

I'm a bass player at heart and listen a lot to drummers. I end up spending a lot of time on the drums.

Thanks again for listening!

Hi guys and gals,
I tried to post it before but i cant find it anymore, maybe its removed.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDLZhpUCcaY

The track contains samples from new and unreleased instruments like the Dreadbox Nymphes and Erica Synths Perkon. Also Hydrasynth, Udo Supersix, Doepfer rack and a 606 drum module. All done in sample form in Ableton. Really curious for some feedback.
In my description I link back to the Loopop video that contains a link to the contest and samples.

Okay, this is a two-part question :

1.Can anyone tell me if after hearing my last tune recorded, which actually received 7,000+ views in less than 60-days last year on my old YouTube channel Lightning4theReign if they think it would benefit my career vocal-wise to start writing differently without trying to capture it exactly how it sounds in my head (which is WAY more cool than my finished product, with me performing it, admittedly...?)

2.How do I using my ZOOMR24 access the many "saved" mic presets because they seem to just disappear from the unit after I power off the unit....also, I'm in the Seattle Area looking for a high powered "Praise Metal" a la Stryper, etc. to start collaborating with....email me at [email protected]. God bless all you cool as **** GearSpace users.....
