Looking for an interface which allows switching between three or more speaker systems

Which interfaces or desks would be best? Looking to keep it under $450 to be honest.

Not an interface, but handy for what you want- presonus central station.

I don't think you will find an interface with 3 speaker outputs for that price. However, you could consider a monitor controller.

I have the McOne passive monitor controller which feeds from my Avid Omni. Very transparent sound and totally within your budget.

Had the Mackie Big Knob before but didn't like the sound as it was very coloured.

Good luck!

If you look around you might still be able to find an M_Audio fast Track Ultra 8r.

Other than that it's the MOTU Ultralite if you are willing to up your budget by $50-$100.

The Profire 2626 will let you connect 4 sets of monitors (8 outputs), and Cubase allows you to easily switch between them using the control room mixer - so whatever DAW you are using May have a similar feature . I think the profire goes for about $400 and it's an amazing interface for the price

Yeah, the switching is a software thing...no interface has multiple "speaker/monitor" outs...they simply have line outputs--software like Cubase will allow you to connect different speakers and switch them. YMMV with other software.

Presonus Monitor station (or the central station with remote if you want it racked)

three sets of speakers, dim, mono, master level, talkback, 4 headphone outs, couldn't live without it!

Cheers!

The Scarlett 6i6 has three monitor feeds, two of which are intended for headphones but which could just as easily be split out to two additional pairs of monitors. Independent volume controls; not "switching" per se but it'll get you there.

Honestly I agree a monitor controller, fed from one monitor output, would be a better use of your money than finding and Frankensteining an interface to do this. Presonus and Mackie both make monitor stations that meet your needs for about $300.

Apogee Quartet does actually have A/B/C monitor switching from the interface itself (as well as Dim and Sum to Mono), but it's out of that price range.

You could wire a hobby box up, or buy a switcher. Then you don't have to worry about interfaces or clogging up outputs (though you can easily do that in software too).

TC Konnekt 48-2nd hand. So convenient with the 'breakout' mouse: fingertip control of volume, three sets of monitors, preamp control....https://www.google.com.tw/search?q=t...sm=91&ie=UTF-8
