New Waves hardware

I picked up the new issue of Home Recording (Oct '02) for the Tchad Blake interview and noticed that Waves now has a hardware version of their Maxxbass. There's a full space box called the 102 and a half space called the 101.

Wonder if it's built any better than the L2...

I don't know why. It's a cool plug-in for some things. On other things it can cause lots of damage. I'm happy with my dbx Subharmonic Synth though. Got that one for $50.

As far as the waves plug ins are concerned, I prefer the RenBass over Maxxbass. I know they use similar code but RenBass just works better/easier. And sounds better to me.
