This thing is so cool! One algorithm with tons of tweaking possibilities.
Some Eventide like plex verbs, diffused Lexicon delays, TC2290 dynamic panning modulated delays, tremmed and detuned spaces, tap tempo multitap rhythms, multivoice chorus or flanger, Lexi Echorus...
So cool and great sounding filters!

I have a Korg DL8000R in one of my racks. It sits along side my Yamaha E1010 and Roland SDE2500.

I have had it for 2 years now and yes it's a great stereo delay/chorus/effects unit.

Little known now but still much better than nearly all plugins. The effects you can get out of it can be truely amazing.

I bought one of these new back in the mid-late 90's and i loved it!! With the warp knob on the first or second preset if you gradually lowered the rate to the all the way down speed, let it operate there for a bit then crank it up some, then slowly reduce the rate again you could obtain an even slower rate of "rotation" So do this repeatedly for 20-30 minutes and you get this awesome effect that can be added to, groomed for specific frequencies(via aux sends and return channel strips with parametric eq) and routed into other dsp systems resulting in what i used to call "echo-spheres"
The unit is worth the price for that alone! A wicked cool little piece of rackness to be sure!

Italo - those are some amazing patches/settings for the Korg (as all of yours are).

Have you made a set of presets for the Lexicon Software Reverbs? I've been on the fence about them the PCM native software but being able buy presets from you could push me over the line...

just got one of these - pretty rare/hard to find. the stock patches are pretty damn good, but I'll be checking out those custom patches again too!

It seems a number of these units surfaced to the used market recently. Good for those getting them.

I just picked one up today for my live rack.

I play mainly acoustic guitars live and for my 12 String especially I found that the best sounds I could achieve for my needs came from my Korg A1 which is way too heavy for my live rack.

The Korg A3s that I have seen around are pretty much worn out so this seemed like the only best option for what I need: EQ > Delay > MTap Delay > MTap Chorus.

I'll pick the unit up this week and have a twiddle, so I wonder if there are any other users out there who might like to share knowledge.
