Processing recorderman

How do you like to process recorderman-miced drums?

Light compression (1176 all buttons in is my standard)
6khz high shelf cut to tame cymbals (if necessary)
wide cut at 1.0-1.5khz
possibly a small boost at 80-90hz
hpf at 60-70hz

Just tried a quick EQ on the these clips:
Prairie Sun Drum Overhead Mic Shootout | recording hacks

You seem to have something going with those EQ values.

Here's an example of a technique I found. I delayed the signal in each channel by 0.6 ms and sent it to the opposite channel with a gain around -12 dB. It sounds just like adding an ambience mic!
