Reamp box to compress a previously recorded track or not need of one???

I had Recorded raw, I want to add my DBX 160A because I had bad experiences with Virtual compressors (they lowered the quality).
Can I connect the compressor to my Saffire PRO24 or I need to use my reamp box to do this??
How can I do it???

A line level signal should not need a reamp, you can interface a line output directly with your compressor. A reamp is designed to 1) Lower a line level down closer to a guitar level and 2) Raise line level output impedance to closer to that of an electric guitar pickup, and to properly load the line output at the same time. You would want to do this to run your track through guitar pedals, or to a guitar amp.

To reiterate. A reamp is for running line levels into guitar gear. Studio gear, like the DBX 160A is designed to operate at line levels, directly with interfaces like your Saffire or mixers, preamps, studio EQ channels, tape machines, etc.
