What hardware equivalent is there to Waves' Maxx Bass?

What hardware equivalent is there to Waves' Maxx Bass?

What's going on with this plug in? Is there a single piece of hardware that does the same thing, or similar? Or maybe there are a few pieces of gear to chain together?

I like what it does, but there's nothing a plug can do that hardware can't do better.....hehehehe....

Waves makes Maxx BCL which has the MaxxBass algorithm

That's not quite the same, the MaxxBass creates upper harmonics not subharmonics

The closest hardware I can think of is the Focusrite Compounder.

Waves lo air is more like the 120...as has been pointed out, max bass kinda does the opposite.

Lowender sounds very similar to my hardware DBX 120XP and it has more options. A great value at $69!
