How to set your eq to hear how will it sound on alaptop speakers

how should i put eq on my master buss to hear how will my bass sound on the laptop?

sounds about right...on my MBP it looks to be maybe 300Hz...
here's a measurement from my 2011 MBP i did a while back...not too scientifically done but 'good enough'...

Play it through a lap top

or

use an impulse from a lap top speaker as an impulse in some convolving software.


An EQ won't cut it really....

It's phones we need to be mixing for.
I know plenty of ( young ) people who 90% of the time listen to music on their tiny audio killing devices.
It's quite a skill to get a song to translate. I'm doing some very commercial stuff and the fact is I'm trying to get all the interesting stuff into a slot between about 400hz and 5k (?).

i just can't stand that i don't here my bass on my laptop, no bass
