DIY Subkick

Though probably old hat by now on the Gearslutz forum I thought my short DIY Subkick blog may interest someone, or at least provoke a little conversation on the topic.

hey thanks so much for posting this it inspired me to make one myself. Mounted an old 6" sub in a short length of 6" PVC. Hot glued a 3/8" threaded nut to the inside, and screwed a hosa 3/8" to 5/8" mic stand thread adapter into that, so that I could thread the subkick onto a mic stand.

pics are attached

I would be curious to hear some clips of yours if you have any,
I will post some of mine as soon as I can get my hands on a kick drum!
