Problem with Lexicon M300

Hi there,

today I got my new (well, used) M300 I bought on ebay. I fired it up in order to test it. For this purporse I just inserted it (left Channel) in a channel on my console and played a vocal line through it.

The audio passes the unit (when I disconnect the XLR the audio interrupts) but there is NO indicaton on the meters of the Lexicon (altough they are set to show the input of channel L) and the volume does not chance when I push or degrease the In and Out levels on the Lex.

The unit is set to Mach A and I loaded a few different presets...nothing.

What the hell am I doing wrong here? Stupid question...I know, but I hope someone can help me out. Thanks in advance!
