500 Series Hiss

I just bought my first 500 series (Radial Powerstrip with a Phoenix DRS-1R) and I think it sounds pretty great except for an airy hiss. I only have one slot taken up on the Powerstrip so maybe that's why? I have a Great River MP-2NV and it sounds amazing with no noise at all. Should I take it back or am I a dummy that has stuff hooked up wrong?

No such problem with their Workhorse rack or Cube here. How have you got it hooked up (what connectors, balanced, unbalanced etc), and to what? Any compressors/limiters etc always on and being monitored? (depending how they work, they can boost any noise from analogue electronics...)
