The Bee Gees drum loop

Does anyone have access to the raw drum loop used on Staying Alive, Night Fever, etc? If so, please PM.
Thanks!

Yes, the story goes that the drummer came in for a session but was very sick.
He played for as long as he could stand it, then bailed.
They only got a few short sections, so they decided to try a loop out of necessity.

It worked well, so they used the same loop more than once.

I don't remember the exact source, but I read this in one of those "inside the making of a hit record" type pieces in Mix magazine or the like...

Maybe someone has a link to that article...?
It included an interview with the engineer or producer

Interesting. I think they used the same drummer two years earlier, Dennis Byron, on Main Course. If that's him, he sounds just as good on Jive Talkin' and Nights On Broadway. I wonder if that's a loop.

EDIT: I mean the drums sound just as consistent.

Rumor was it was a third gen tape loop too. I had a friend that worked on some bee gee's sessions and he said they would tweak out on drum feel to a very intense degree.
