Best stereo mounting bar?

I've got the one 20$ from K&M but it's so annoying that it's better to set up 2 different stands.

I need something that let me precisely set:
-Mic height
-Angle
-Distance between mics

I'm considering Schoeps UMS20... it's around 400$ but can be worth since I'm really into stereo...

Any other ideas?

Please no "DIY"

I really like the Schoeps one. It's the only one I've tried with the right markings/angles. You should also check out the ones from AEA (Modular Microphone Array Positioners – Products – AEA Big Ribbon Micsβ„’ Mic Preamps and Recording Tools).

The best is still the Grace SpaceBar - it gives accurate angles to a fine degree and good spacing marks. Also, unusually, it also gives tilt angles and the option of a centre mount. It comes complete with two mounting sliders and also a riser to lift one mic. above the other.

Available in 30 and 66cm lengths and also with Euro 3/8" mounting threads.

That's great...

It's hard to find these stuff around there but Grace let you buy directly from their website

Just a question... they say
Available with standard 5/8-27 mic mount threads (most common for USA) or 3/8-16 British Standard Whitworth.
And are really confusing me... What should I get?

3/8" is the UK and European standard - 5/8" is the US standard.

Personally, I would get the 3/8" version wherever I was - I *hate* that horrible 5/8" very fine and problematical thread.

In the end I ordered the 30 cm bar with soft case from Grace Design website...
Cheaper than others and looks solid and great.. also it's easily expandable since you can buy 66cm and other gear separately.

Yeah thanks, I was sure about that and then saw the BIG picture on Grace website... I'm blind

Here (and in the whole world, I guess) all mics comes with 5/8 "default" and 3/8 adapters.

Easy to understand that you can adapt 3/8 to 5/8 but can't do the opposite..
All my stands have 3/8 so it's better the UK version since I don't have to change the mic holder everytime I go from stand to stereo bar.
