Langefunken Langevin/Telefunken pre- good?

I found this on ebay, I am sure some of you guys have seen this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/TELEFUNKEN-V676A...QQcmdZViewItem

It is 2 am-16 and 2 v676a.

Just want to know what you guys think of it. I am thinking about picking it up, but don't know if it's a good price, build, or even a good preamp. Anyone ever seen anything like this before?

I saw this too and am pretty curious about it. FWIW, I've seen this (or one just like it) on ebay before.

It looks kind of cool but I could have done without that ugly paint job. At any rate it seems like a nice combo and it looks like the guy did a good job making it.

A recapped pair of V676a pres done right will cost about $1700 - $1800 US with all the bells and whistles like phase, pad, pahntom ect.

A nice pair of langevin AM16 pres recapped and racked properly will cost about the same. I'd think his price is on par as long as the work is top notch.
