Daisy Chaining M-Audio 1814's?

Is it possible to daisychain two M-Audio 1814 interfaces and double the amount of inputs into Pro Tools? The interface has two firewire jacks, so I'm assuming you can.

In other words, could I daisy chain two 1814's and have 16 channels of analog inputs, with the option of going to 32 if I added 16 channels of outboard A/D to the ADAT ins?

Also, would I be able to use the M-Audio control panel mixer with all inputs or just for one interface?

No. M-Powered won't allow more than one interface to be used at a time. It will work with any other software, just not Digi cripple-ware.
