I like it because of the room for pedals. The Apex looks cool as well, but sucks because of the absence of space for pedals. Depends on your style of playing.
If you like the Hammond B4 sort of look, why not make a fake console out of plywood and some hinges? Depending on the aesthetics of the band, you could make it anything from authentic Hammond, to Paul McCartneys 'Magic Piano' to a gothic pipe organ, to literally anything you could imagine. Print shops have huge printers now that can take any graphic image and make them huge. Or cover it plastic mirrors, or astro turf or fake fur or whatever spins your wheels.
im happy with my 2 tier quik lok. i dont realy like the spider type although they can be setup on stage quickly. its personal preference to what you like, best thing to do is go to a shop and play on a few.
The above suggestions are good ones. I have both the Apex and the Ultimate V-stand. They're both rock solid and very cool. (and innovative) I highly recommend both.
I use Apexes live because both tiers are infinitely height adjustable. But they're a B-I-itch when you have to move them around with instruments on them (it takes about three people, and the opening acts tour manager is always REALLY pissed at me!).
