The 4050 ( I have a pair) is more "neutral" than the 4033 IMHO. I love my 4047's, they are probably the best LDC's AT has made. Also have a 414 (the XLS version), nice mic for my VO work (set to hypercardioid), but be careful because different versions have different top end responses.
All 4033 models are exactly the same technically. AT has not changed anything besides the labeling. Same components. The difference was the shockmount shipped with it. It can sound pretty harsh on some sources but you can find one for around $200. On that price range, I think it's worth having one or two. They're amazing on AC Gtr and OH.

just got a 4033
For Christmas. Like it on MY voice. It is good on my 78 Yamaha 345. Not great, but good. Was pretty good at 3 feet out from my VOX amp, too. So far does everything well, but MY vocals shine with it. Of course, I loved the 2020 on my voice too......
I personally don't think AT makes a bad mic. They make good headphones too.
